What happens when my license expires?

OpenGard continues to run normally for a 6-month grace period after expiration. After the grace period, the audit database is restricted to 10 MB. Existing data is never deleted, but new events will be blocked until a valid license is provided.

What does the evaluation include?

The evaluation includes all features with no functional limitations. The only restriction is that the audit database is capped at 10 MB. You have 3 months to evaluate the product before acquiring a license.

How is the license applied?

You receive a LICENSE file. Place it in the OpenGard working directory and restart the server, or upload it via the web UI at Configure → License.

Can I use one license for multiple servers?

Each license is tied to a specific domain. Contact us for volume or multi-server licensing.

Is there a cloud-hosted version?

No. OpenGard is self-hosted only. Your audit data never leaves your infrastructure.
